Not a specific fear, no idea why (nothing bad ever happened to me in one) just totally and completely wigged out by them.
Sometimes I don't even habe to be IN it to be scared, just driving by them can get me wigged out sometimes...

Funny, they're my favourite place to hang out :)

Then I have to convince myself mentally that it is just my imagination.

I have thoughts like that too, i thought it was a phobia too, but my prescriber said it sounded more like OCD, you might want to speak to your doctor or a therapist about those thoughts.

Automobile air bags.

I am afraid my eardrums will rupture if they go off and the windows are up. Thus I cannot be in a car with airbags unless my window is open at least a little bit.

Yes, irrational. The volume of expanding gases in an airbag firing will not result in enough overpressure for it to happen, and I should fear more the impact. I guess it is an extension of a dislike of sudden loud noises.

Anything that is relatively small and flies scares me.
Fear multiplies with noise loudness and size.
A mosquito, for instance, would terrify me beyond all rational thought.
Maybugs are very frightening.
Moths are less bad.
Flies just make me shy away and never relax.

Insects. More with the flying type but any can freak me out to the point where I run away or am swatting at the air like a maniac. This also means any creepy/crawling feeling on my skin makes me flip out.

Vomit. Don't like hearing about it or hearing it or seeing it or discussing it or thinking about it. I avoid people with stated stomach aches or people who cough loudly (it can make you vomit).

Other, more rational fears include murderers, the dark (walking alone in it usually), and driving.

interesting, i remember loving lizards when i was younger, i used to try to catch them whenever i saw them in nature.
My irrational fear/phobia is blood. Or, more specifically, bleeding to death. Whenever I cut myself, or sting myself with a needle, even if there's only a drop of blood on my skin, I get this feeling that i'm going to die right now and my whole body starts to panic - my heart pumps faster, i become light-headed and really dizzy, i'm in a cold sweat, and then my vision turns black and i faint.
I remember always having this phobia, ever since the first fainting at the doctor's cabinet when I was really young. I really don't understand where it came from.. Where does the phobias come from? I read that they might be the unconscious reaction to some traumatizing event that happened in the past, but I can't associate my phobia with any trauma and i'm confused. My psychologist couldn't explain it either. It's just so irrational. Which is annoying.

i love lizards and blood. lizards are cute and i am a pro at catching them, i also like watching tv shows that show surgeries. it is funny the differences even similar people have.

i hate leaving a message on someones answering machine, my palms get all sweaty and i forget how to speak and my heart beats rapidly. when i was a child it was the same way using the regular telephone but now only answering machines bother me. i wish i knew why, if i could rationalize it perhaps i could purge myself of that fear.

Mostly failure, rejection, and humiliation. I've never been one to take risks in life.

I have a very irrational fear of spiders. It's severe to the point where even the mere mention of the word and my mind starts picturing spiders everywhere. It's the same thing for bugs as well... more like infestation or something. I also hate bees, wasps and hornets. It was because of a bad experience I really don't want to explain... but yeah.

I also have a fear of rejection, being alone (even though I prefer being alone) and losing my best friends. I almost lost my best friend yesterday and cried non-stop for hours. He has always been there for me through thick and thin, even the most harshest of times. He understands me and we connect so well too.

Blood. I can't stand the sight of it. Even the mention of the word make me feel sick.

I had a small nose bled last week and threw up at the sight of the smallest drop of blood.

Oh yeah and birds, their feet it paricular really freek me out! Yuck!

I have a fear that the Koolaid Man will jump through my bedroom wall and molest me. But I'm not sure if that's an irrational fear, have you seen how big that guy is? If he wanted it, I couldn't stop him....

I have several irrational fears and dislikes, and hardcore phobias also. Feel free to laugh but they're serious.
ferns
mutant plants, e.g. when you find a carrot with 2 carrots attached
mouldy fruit/vegetables
derelict furniture especially built between 1920 and 1970
toilets built before 1980 (you can easily tell which ones are)
the noise of toilets flushing
repetitive machine noises e.g. the sound of washing machines, windscreen wipers
the smell of hydraulics fluid (you can smell it in old elevators and escalators)
water damaged ceilings - plain won't go into a building with this
being trapped in a large shopping centre style building with no windows
having a panic attack in public

Pumping gas. I'm afraid it will leak all over myself, the car, or the ground.
