Who here has ADHD?

ADHD is a cop out for a poor psychologist that is too lame to examine the patient fully and make a proper diagnosis.
In the real world, it is easier to just diagnose everyone as having ADHD when they are disruptive or active, then to actually understand that the problem goes much deeper.

You are correct that many people who have AS have been diagnosed at one time with ADHD. One of them may be me. But to make statements that insinuate that ADHD doesn't exist just makes you seem ignorant. ADHD has been accepted as a real medical condition for some time now by medical professionals and the APA. ADHD is a common co-morbid of autism, and there is a great deal more to it than being disruputive or overactive. In fact, for the many people who are diagnosed with ADHD-PI, these symptoms do not even apply. Learn your facts!
And I am one of them. It's sad just how ignorant society in general is about ADHD/ADD.

I was told that you cannot be dx'd with ASD and ADHD. Is that wrong? Either way it is a strange thing because you can get treatment for ADHD if you have ASD.
Wrong.
You CAN have both ASD AND ADHD.
As above. They are two distinct disorders, with distinctly different symptoms.

The thing is that SOME symptoms overlap.
As a child and even now, very often people THINK that I'm not concentrated but in reallity the problems in my case are the informations comming in my head and NOT even the concentration in the first place.
So if you score higher on ADHD/ADD-tests in most of the cases it is just through autism, just in some rare cases you actually really have both: Autism and ADHD/ADD, but the combination is sadly totally overdiagnosed.
I have some ADHD-traits, like the hyperactivity and usually I can concentrate, but when something negative occours in my live I can't concentrate anymore, even for months. But I'm still not diagnosed with ADHD, but I was toled I have some traits. Fullblown ADHD and autism is very difficult to handle.
