That just shows it was well loved :D

I used to like a fringe player named George Theodore, who used to play for the Mets in the 1970s. His nickname was "Stork."

His career was ruined when he ran into somebody chasing a fly ball. He dislocated his shoulder at that time.

If you're playing a game, you're in the outfield, and a ball gets hit, people who play outfield have to know where the other outfielders are at all times. Otherwise, they will collide with each other.

I had not been by to say hello to you, today, and wanted to do so, before I retire for the night, although, perhaps it is too late. I hope not.

Goodnight, SSF, and all, here...

Sorry! It was a little late for me because I'm going to bed really early in order to get up for school on time (it's in just a few days!). Good morning  :flower: :geek: :study: !

That reminds me, I'm gonna have to start getting up early too if I want to get used to when I'm going to have to get up when I start University soon. 8O

It's so hard getting back into that schedule!

Trust me, I know. I'll have to start getting the train really early in the morning which means getting up way earlier than I had to for College. Plus, the induction days vary from being quite long (9am till 8pm) to really short (10am till 1pm) and there's a lot of time dedicated to 'Social free time' where we're expected to mingle with other University students, and explore the area.

Obviously once the induction week is over the timetable will be a lot more stable. :) I will have to leave at 7 if I want to get the morning train. 8O I think I will probably stay in accommodation at Uni in my second year, simply because it's easier and I'm lazy. :p

Wow, that's a lot of work! I hope you do well :D . "Social free time" doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I hope you enjoy it! Good luck at Uni  !

Thanks. :)

I have mixed feelings towards the social sessions, on the one hand I am looking forward to meeting the people on my course along with others on similar courses, but on the other hand I think I'll be quite exhausted during Induction/Fresher's week. 8O

Yeah, that seems pretty hard. Hopefully you'll find some like minded people :D .

Today I went to the grocery store after work. When I was waiting in the line at the checkout counter there was this old woman in front of me whose hair was like a one big dread. She placed her goods on the 'moving mat' (what is that called?) one item at a time and she took them off furiously and put them back again in a different order and repeated doing this over and over again. In the end they were perfectly categorized and symmetrical. She did the same thing when she was done paying and putting them back into her shopping cart. It took so long but oh well.

'moving mat' works for me but if you want to get technical it is referred to as a conveyor belt in the UK.

I've told this story before but I had a run in with a cashier at a supermarket where our ideas clashed , she didn't like the order I had purposely put my items in ( the way I wanted to pack them ) and she was reaching over items squashing things and scanning things in the order she wanted.

That's OCD for you^^^^^

I feel bad for her. It must be hard. I have that kind of compulsion as well.

Thanks!

Oh, that would make me soooo angry.
The cashier that dealt with her, and me, was also disabled and I felt like I looked the most normal haha.
