False memories are so confusing because they actually feel like real memories

Like I've just had a vivid memory of being given smelling salts and I can't forget the memory now but it has to be a false memory because I can't think of a time in my life where that might have happened

It's a bit tricky that is

Over the years , had so many people gaslight me..That the concepts of memories felt like a issue for me . Nowadays
I do not stress over the memories, any memories that cannot be connected to something someway ...just gets to be sidelined. . They live a life of irrevolency until , one day ( or not) they find their associated connected memories ...if not
,well am usually none the worse off. IMHO :roll:
Have have some humdingers of Long term connections to things come up that happened like 25 years before . Just out of the Blue . Sometimes I like to think that "when the mind is ready" the memories can make the connections, if you look for it.
