Who here has ADD? What are your experiences with ADD (if you even have it)?

I didn't finish my school work in school so I always had tons of homework while other kids always got their work done and got free time and I rarely did. They didn't even have much homework either while I had tons. It was hell because while other kids got free time at home, I basically still had school at home till bedtime. Mom had to put me in a room that was quiet so I do my school work.

I also got distracted easily by sounds and people around me and it was hard to concentrate on my school work and hard to think.

Who here has ADD?

Was born with ADHD Inattentive including central auditory processing disorder. For me, the old medicine, coffee - caffeine compounds, work better than Ritalin/other stronger stimulants to temporarily reduce some ADHD symptoms a little (not a cure).

It is highly believed that I do by my specialist.

ADD.

I can't concentrate on sounds, can only concentrate on ONE action or visual detail.

I got aweful grades for being expected to concentrate like a Neurotypical. That f****d up 2 Bagrut tests (=Israel's school final tests), and my hope of being a doctor, or my medicine obsession being legitimate.

Being diagnosed at a late age (relating to the fact I'm a very strong case of ADD) of 15 years and 10 months can screw you up.

I don't think I have ADD, though I can relate to some of the symptoms.
