Hi. I didn't want to hijack someone else's thread about Schizophrenia and Asperger's Syndrome.

The first diagnosis I can remember was depression. I was afterwards diagnosed with Social Phobia / Social Anxiety Disorder. I eventually had a breakdown and some time afterwards was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Last year I was diagnosed with AS by my current Psychiatrist.

Thing is, I told my GP that I was experiencing nausea in some social situations, mostly an unpleasant feeling in my head and sometimes in my tummy.

He suggested that it was due to anxiety and was a symptom of Psychosis. He prescribed me to Largactil (Chlorpromazine) which I read on the Internet was typical anti-psychotic drug. I take Zyprexa (Olanzapine) which obviously is not addressing this feeling of nausea; but it is a newer drug (atypical).

I don't wish to take Largactil without my Psychiatrist's advice especially considering he's the specialist.

Anyway. I was wondering if this symptom of nausea was common amongst Aspies.

(EDIT: added Social Phobia / Social Anxiety Disorder in my diagnosis history)

Yeah, I get nausea whenever I'm really upset or stressed.
