Maybe this will be better than me making so many threads in this sub-forum. :P

I don't think wanting to make yourself pass out to try and feel something is a sign of a healthy. I can't wait I go back to school on Tuesday, since then I won't be alone with only my thoughts. I drive myself crazy. :geek:

I'm going to start psych evaluations on the 22nd of this month. :thumright: (Which would normally my dad's birthday)

Lots of views. but no posts. :(

I'm starting to think that all I have is anxiety. Social anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, and Hypochondriasis. I can't be sure, but after researching Hypochondriasis extensively, it seems to fit me. I am very often extremely preoccupied with mental illnesses, so much that I drive myself crazy. Maybe I do have an actual disorder that I've thought I've had in the past, but it doesn't seem like me. Anyone that's read a lot of my posts over the past 3/4 of the year has seen that I change my mind about what disorders I think I have all the time. :P

Being preoccupied with wondering if you have Hypochondriasis seems like a paradox.

Hi! I'm crazy too!! !

I have tons of anxiety as well, and I am totally a hypochondriac. I think everything is wrong with me, but nothing really is.
Damn minds, playing games. Urg... I think I am just afraid of boring myself. :D

I could not agree more...

Yay! My first on-topic reply.

Well, it's not really true that "nothing" is wrong with you, since hypochondriasis and generalized anxiety disorder count for a lot. I am 100% sure that I have the 3 disorder I previously mentioned, although since I inflate every other symptom I have, I know I can't trust myself, which I realized before even learning about hypochondriasis. :P

I am also bored a lot of the time, and hate it, which is why I'm happy school has started, since that gives me something to do for a large part of the day.

I believe I have symptoms that are not covered by anxiety, but I'll leave that for the psychiatrist to decide when I go in 2 weeks.

You are right. Hypochondria is wrong with me, and also I really do have diagnosed OCD, ADHD, and Social Phobia. But then there are all these other symptoms that fit in no where else, those are the ones I get paranoid about and start to dream up weird things...

Cool you will go to a psychiatrist. I tried that but he wanted me to talk, so that was a problem. :)

Urg. I wish I were still in school. That always kept me entertained...

Jimothy says "Hello."

I think I'm starting to get over the whole crazy thing. Or at least I can accept it. I'll still be an OT one day; I'll just be an OT that talks to herself and doesn't think that anyone really exists. At least I'll be helping imaginary kids, that's something right lol?

I love school. There's a new kid named "James" in my statistics class. That kinda weirds me out because I've got like 3 definetely unreal friends (as in contrast to maybe non existant "real people") named James. Hopefully he's an interesting guy; the other 5 kids are goody girls and are SO nice, normal and boring it makes me look way freakier than I already am. The nerve of them. Anyway, yeah.

GammaGeek: What's an OT?

I've never heard of anyone with so many imaginary friends. That's not a bad thing though.

I think I have a crush on one of my teachers. 8O

Ironic, yes.

My crushes are usually limerence which drives me crazy.

The funny thing is, is that she was telling the class a few days ago that just a couple months ago an ex-teacher from my school was sentenced to 8 months in jail for having a relationship with a student. Apparently there's this law that if the teacher is over 5 years older than the student, then it's illegal, even if the student is at or above the age of consent (16), which I think makes no sense.

I wish I were like that. I can't control it.

Does anyone else ever feel like everyone else is just a figment of their imagination? Like for me, it feels like other people only exist when I am seeing them (or talking to them over the phone or whatever). Does that have to do with a lack of Theory of Mind maybe?

it's very rare for me to have crushes. I find that each successive one takes longer and longer to come. Hopefully i'll stop having them altogether, they're just distractions when you consider the fact that i never act on them.

Sometimes when I watch a show where someone has an illness that causes vomiting, it causes me to have stomach cramps and a funny feeling in my throat even days after I watched it. This is due to my emetophobia, or phobia of vomiting. I know my symptoms are psychological, because when I am doing things I enjoy such as engaging in my interests or talking to my mom, the symptoms go away. Another reason I know it's psychological is that food and drink doesn't upset my stomach.

The first time this happened was a couple of years ago, when I watched a medical show with an episode that told the story of how a bunch of people started vomiting after somebody spiked the punch at a church function. I had stomach cramps and a tight throat for about 2 weeks after watching that. I also had heightened anxiety that caused me to break out in hives.

This has also started happening to me again as of a couple of days ago. I was on the website Crunchyroll looking for anime to watch, when the front page highlighted an episode from the anime Usagi Drop called "Stomach Flu", where the little girl in the show gets - you guessed it - the stomach flu. I didn't watch the episode or even a clip of it, yet somehow I feel "jinxed" just by knowing it exists. Ever since learning of its existence, I have had the same symptoms I had a couple of years ago from watching the medical show. :(
