This sucks. I've been having a real hard time staying focused these past few afternoons. See, here's the thing: I take 10mg of generic Adderall in the afternoon. It usually lasts me 3.5-4 hours. The manufacturer of these generics has been Sandoz. However, when I got my prescription refilled last Friday, the pills didn't look like they usually do. When I got home, the vial read "CorePharma" under "MNF" (manufacturer). I thought, "no biggie. They'll probably work as good as Sandoz's'". Was I ever more wrong! I feel a huge surge in terms of an effect approximately 20 minutes after taking these, then... nothing. So it feels as if I haven't been taking anything these past few afternoons. Who else has had bad experiences with certain manufacturers of psychiatric drugs? What was the experience like for you? As for me, I'm hoping for Sandoz generics next time (or Barr, even, but not crappy CorePharma again).

I've had this problem before. I was taking methalin (a generic of Ritalin), and then one day, they gave me methalynphenidate. It didn't work very well at all! I just toughed it out for a month until I got my methalin back. But if it's bothering you a lot, you should call your med doctor and get things straightened out.

Yeah that's not right. Doctors are so happy to push prescriptions on people they should at least make sure their clients are being taken care of properly. Just think if it was causing you worse discomfort under that circumstance you might even be able to sue. Why they wouldn't take something like that seriously in the first place is ridiculous.

Ugh! I feel ya! Corepharmas are horrible. I had to switch to Dexedrine because I couldn't get Sandoz Adderall anymore, then Dexedrine shortages forced me onto Desoxyn.

I think those Corepharmas have a much higher amount of levoamphetamine. They practically feel racemic. I WILL NOT take them. They are an anxiety attack in a pill.

Olanzapine recently went off patent in the UK so as a result I had to go from taking the olanzapine produced by Lilly to one by another company (I fail to remember which one right now). For the first two weeks of taking the new brand, I felt like I had mildly overdosed on olanzpaine every night. One night I even went somewhat ataxtic and my eyes were uncontrollable. However I am still taking the new one and I think my body has adjusted because I'm fine now.
