Fear seems to be at the very core of a (paranoid) schizophrenic's mind... but fear alone doesn't induce delusions of reference, so what is hypothetically happening? Anyone thought about this?

I think schizophrenia is a "losing of oneself" or the inner self.
When I became involved in an abusive relationship with a narcissistic individual, I started to show signs of schizophrenia. I ended up being counseled for Post Traumatic Stress.
