I feel like I have a dash of everything.

I'm HFA, on the AQ I had 32 points. So not that high, but still clearly in the autism spectrum.

I'm Transgender or Genderqueer.

I have Tics, maybe light Tourette, but nothing I need to get diagnosed, just sometimes it's anoying.

I have possible Bipolar II (what's hard to tell at the moment, because I had a trauma two years ago which is getting a lot better, but I even had mood swings before). Right now I'm feeling very good, but still a bit bad at the same time.

I have the feeling that I have a dash of everything.
Anyone else with the feeling? :D

I am a transgendered (FtM), Homo-romantic bisexual. I show strong ASD symptoms, on the AQ test I scored 39, I show strong symptoms of dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. I experience pretty acute anxiety, and depression at times. I do not think I am bipolar in the slightest.

Other than that I guess I'm okay. Fairly standard.

I can relate to that. I have been classified as so many (or at least few) different conditions that I don't know what to think. Aspergers syndrom, borderline personality disorder, bipolar syndrom (plus other conditions that are linked to those). The modern psychiatry is very open to interpretations and it's easy to fill almost everything if you have few base symptoms.

I suspect that most of the conditions are very similar and related, so separating them from each other could be hard.

Yes, not everyone is a "clear case".
I'm not, but I'm clear enough that at least my mild autism is clear and me being transgender.
The rest, well, we'll see.
I'm thinking about possibly beeing bipolar all fiew months maybe. Now I want to read something about it. When I'm very depressed over a long time then I think I just have depressions, but then I sometimes feel good and bad at the same time and things like that, but nothing very clear. I never had a manic episode. So, that's why it would be possible bipolar II.

Also my psychiatrist noticed this the last time I was there. She sad I look very happy. I toled her my mood is mixed and then I was happy, the next moment I cryed than I was happy again and so on. Usually I'm not like this and is was the first time she saw that.

I also think that a lot of psychiatric conditions are related. Maybe it is sometimes just something in between?
I mean nowadays we know a lot more about psychology than 30 years ago, but still not enough to explain everything or even diagnose everyone 100% correctly.

Diagnosed Bipolar II and Bipolar I with ultradian cycling by different professionals (I tend to just go with the ultradian cycling descriptor as it's very hard to distinguish between type I and II when you cycle that fast), ADHD, and Aspergers Syndrome. Been to see quite a few psychiatrists over the years.

Why do I feel "mixed" or consider myself mixed? I think mainly because of the contradictory nature of the different disorders and the way they influence my brain processing. I often feel the way my brain functions is very variable and sometimes even like I'm in direct opposition to myself (the bipolar pushes me to make emotion based decisions discounting all logic while on the other end of the scale

Btw I really quite strongly think that what gender, race, sexuality, being a loner, whether you're a musician and writer and where you lived (seriously??) should be considered as past of "having a dash of everything". I'm pretty sure we're talking about psychological disorders here...

In case the information is relevant to someone else I am also

Straight but open to changes/experimentation if I feel inclined
Anxious a LOT of the time (In fact, I probably do fit the criteria for an anxiety disorder plus several personality disorders but I discount this because I haven't been professionally diagnosed with any of it plus most of the symptoms can also come from the disorders I do have)
Have some OCD like behaviours (see above)
Am white
Born in the same country I live in now
Sometimes a hermit, sometimes a socialite, in general extremely unpredictable and complex
Professional singer and songwriter (also pianist), writer of poetry and short stories, artist, actor, runner, traceur, university student (psychology) with a current goal to become a social (or social neuroscience) psychologist and researcher specializing in the area of human culture.
I'm not going to go into my history because that would take too long.
Doomed to nothing. My personal choices and the interaction between genetics and environment will continue to keep my life's course in constant flux.

Does it cause you clinically significant distress to be that way?

Anyhoo, don't mind me, I may have come across a little irritable.

Yes, it actually caused a whole bunch of my depressions.

I also don't see it as a psychiatric disorder being Transgender, but it can cause a lot of distress and the distress ist clinical.

I hope I'll get my name changed in september or something and afterwards the operation.

I've here an interessting article about it: Brief Report: Female-To-Male Transsexual People and Autistic Traits (click)
:D

Ah labels I have a few myself:

~Generalized Anxiety Disorder (formally diagnosed)
~Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia (formally diagnosed)
~some OCD (formally diagnosed)
~lots of sensory issues and AS traits (so I suspect on spectrum)

But at the same time you have to focus on the good things, like your roles in life. For instance, I am a daughter, wife, friend, and coworker.

I think I have a little bit of everything... I sit and read through the diagnostic criteria for so many different psychological conditions and I see to fit them all! Which surely isn't possible?!

Symptoms seem to crossover between the different conditions, and I think that's why I'm hasty to self diagnose as anything other than "psychologically unsound" I mean aren't we all in a way? Is anyone completely psychologically sound?

Social anxiety is my worst problem though.
Bipolar depression
Bulimic from 16-19 years old. What stopped me was dental costs and dental phobia!
Obsessive, repetitive thoughts - OCD?
Self harmer.
I also have an addictive personality - so alcohol, food, prescription meds are all a temptation.

-History of self cutting due to low self esteem
-Bully-victim
-Dyscalculia (I was in special education for this learning disability)

Most prevalent issues are with: Aspergers, bipolar type II, OCD
