What do I do? I feel high. I don't feel like I'm in a proper state of mind. I'm abnormally happy. See recently I was depressed-to the point where I cut myself one day and was tempted to get drunk another (I did actually drink a little). So-without my doctors instructions-I added half a pill (10mg) of my antidepressant. I know that was bad to do. I know, I know. I was in so much pain. We had just recently raised my antipsychotic-by doctors instructions. Idk what to do. If I stop taking the extra I'll be depressed. If I keep taking it I'll stay manic. What do I do? And if you tell me to stop or not to stop then either way how would I deal with it? Help?

Should I go back down on my antipsychotic (From 20mg to 15mg of Abilify)?

Mucking about with medications is dangerous business if you're doing it without a doctor's approval. I would strongly urge you to not make any more changes to your medications yourself. Go see your doctor and be honest that you increased your anti-depressant. Let your doctor sort it out. Lowering your antipsychotic likely won't help bring a manic state back to normal. The more dosages you alter, the harder it will be to sort yourself back out to normal. Let a doctor do it.

I may not be manic this may be nothing. I just feel kinda tired lately and when I'm tired I exhibit a manic like behavior and feeling. I've been sleeping a lot (Not characteristic of mania) and I don't have any other symptoms of mania.... I think this might be hormonal.

Go to your dr! Messing around on your own with meds can get you killed! It's really dangerous. Don't make the Heath Ledger mistake.
