It's been two weeks since I've started taking a generic of Lexapro (escitalopram) and it's making me feel neither better or worse? I don't feel any less anxious or crappy about myself, but I also don't feel more depressed and anxious than usual. I took Wellbutrin a few weeks ago, but that ended up making me feel worse, so I stopped.

Should I just give the Lexapro more time to build up in my system?

Call the doctor, at the very least he/she can call back and say if you should expect changes yet.

My doc always has me come in x days/weeks after starting a new drug to evaluate and discuss if it is working or not. And if not if a dose adjustment or a different med is needed.
