So, apparently in the news they found out that 1/10 women in Europe are picked on sexually by men (not that there's any comparison studies)... 1/20 are raped (I'm assuming it's less for men, although presumably not non-existent - note that I'm not referring to the physical violence, which doesn't generally have any redeeming qualities).

And... um, why do I feel like I'm missing something when I hear stats like these and imagine people's lives thereafter? Perhaps my problem is that I'm not female? (As it is the sexual contact I had mostly was with older people, and although age isn't specified for those studies I'm assuming a lot of unsolicited sexual contact with females is also done by those of a similar age...)

Putting it in this forum since presumably this sort of thinking isn't 'healthy'. 8)

It isn't clear what your question or concern is.

I'm simply pointing out the irony behind the statistics (that will obviously never be actually reported anywhere officially)... that some people will inevitably fantasize about the same thing that some people find to be the ultimate terror. Although, of course, the former kind of people tend to also not be of the latter.

The report didn't sound like fantasy and I find it starkly underreported and by that I mean, not said enough and lack of "male" a blunder. Not only that, I want to see their resources. Their female statistic's sounded way the hell off.
