I don't know if anyone else on here can relate, but I have a really bad problem with picking the insides of my thumbs. To the point where I bleed, and people have asked me if I got burned something. My current therapist has told me it's along the lines of addiction, but another one has told me it's related to my OCD. Honestly, I don't care where it stems from, I'm just sick of doing it. Its extremely painful, I've tried everything in the world to stop, but I can't seem to do so.

Any advice? I do it subconsciously.

Wear a bandaid on your thumbs and pick at the bandaid instead.
Keep your hands as occupied as possible so you can't pick.
