Hello has anyone experienced male breast growth while on Risperdal? I have noticed larger breasts since taking.

I 2nd this. There are some meds you can take to counter the side-effects of breast growth & to maybe reduce the breast you already have like Nolvadex & Arimidex. I been on Nolvadex before & am now on Arimidex because I'm on some meds that can increase my breast growth. I haven't noticed any side-effects on either of those meds but I take low doses & they seem to counter the breast growth.

I dont know about your country, but in australia the medical help is sh*t, first medication was risperadal, forced.

Doctors never bothered helping me with side effects.

Im off meds now and feel better, still overweight because of meds,

but now Im not depressed because of meds.

Sure I have my moments, but its a hell of alot better than slowly eeking into dependancy on the doctors o somehow "help" while living a life in a spiralling dependancy system, f*ck em.

I got my breasts from Risperdal when I was about 11 or 12 years old. Now In 31. They never have completely gone away. It doesn't hurt anymore like it used to. :?

Seems like it was only good for giving males a mixed up puberty. I remember no benefit from taking this drug. I think the purpose was to counteract Tourettes Syndrome or depression. Nope, didn't work. I was nothing more than a walking science experiment. 8O

I have experienced this. I don't really mind, because I identify as somewhat female (not transgendered, just feminine). I'm comfortable with my mantitties. What I'm not comfortable with is my body hair.

I take a couple meds partly to reduce my body hair & I take Arimidex to counteract certain side-effects like breast growth.

What meds do you take, and what class of drug are they? I want to know if my doctor would prescribe them for me and if my insurance would cover it.

Agreed, that drug is designed to keep us zombified, weakened and docile, to the point we're just surviving life, not thriving.

Am Australian as well, exact same experiences, had to take it since 4th grade, quit since about 10th or 11, finsihed year 12 november last year and only just now the doctor has agreed it's useless and wants to decrease dosage before getting me off it.

Made me depressed, overweight, suicidal, stupid/slow, dull, weak, manboobs, tired, easily agitated/aggressive, insomniac, etc.

A big problem was, during high school I was in the mainstream schooling system, so being a bit of a dull, slow, slightly overweight, out-of-shape, hotheaded depressed kid? Easy target.

Got off it cold turkey - almost sleepless for a week, but far more alive, energized, happy, confident, social, etc.

It was the drug that was preventing me from reaching my full potential and becoming who I am today.

I take Finasteride & Avodart/Dutasteride which are 5 Alpha-Reductase Inhibitors. They're usually used for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. They stop testosterone from being converted to DHT. Finasteride is approved for male-pattern baldness which is why it's prescribed to me. Avodart is also used for male-pattern baldness & is more potent but that's an off-label use. I also take Aldactone/Spironolactone which is a weak potassium-sparing diuretic that has some antiandrogenic effects. It's the most common med to treat hirsutism in the US which is excessive hair growth usually in women. Some transexuals take it too. I don't have a prescription for Avodart, Aldactone or Arimidex. I buy em online from an overseas pharmacy site that is highly recommended in the male-pattern baldness community. I started those meds for male-pattern baldness but I also like how they reduce my body hair & lower my sex drive.
