Has anyone else turned to sublimation to deal with anxiety and depression? I sometimes put my negative energy to good use by writing and reading nonstop. Not only am I distracting myself, but I’m becoming better at understanding books and articles and quicker with words. I also listen to emo music and inspirational music to get out my feelings. Does anyone else channel bad feelings into a hobby?

Yes, I play the harmonica. It can help getting me into a better mood, but it's especially useful when I feel a meltdown is on the rise. Not only does it shift the focus, it also helps me breathe.
