I wish I could tell you something...
I know this may be silly advice, but try eat 'happy fruits'.
Like, seriously, buy frozen strawberries and make a strawberry-banana smoothies with milk (or almond milk) every day.
Like really, you must eat happy fruits, like they really help alot I think. Strawberries, blueberries, mmmmm they are really good, and oranges ! !! ! you must do this.
But also, aerobic exercise has been shown to alleviate depression, try that maybe? Like 2 to 3x a week maybe? 10 minutes at least for the first week, increase intensity and time slowly but surely.
Sorry I know it may be too much, but ...
Also talking to someone helps me alot...
I hope you can find your way. I'm sorry I hope my message isn't too demotivating, don't try too much at once, I know you already have alot of things to do in your life and it's very difficult.
But I'm sorry I don't know what it means to have depression for 16 years, I am not the most informed person about depression, but I do have some personal experience with it and I know it is extremely difficult... more than it's possible to put into words. Add to that the struggles of life, and one can only be humble.
I hope atleast that my message was of some use to you, or maybe gave at least a spark or an idea.
