I like have these "closed captions" in my head, that whenever I am socializing, those captions appear in my head, more or less telling me what to say, and when I do say it, I feel very weird and anxious afterwards. Many times I can piece together what other people are saying (whether it's socializing or talking to my family) with my closed captions, and 98% of the time, that makes me a little anxious.

I have told my mother about it once, but she didn't believe me. I don't think she even remembers now, as she suddenly doesn't remember anything from my childhood or 97% of the things between 2008-15.

Anyway, what other things like that do you have? Do you have the same thing I have?

Wow! Thanks!
Can you give an answer to this?
When I wake up in the morning, everything I hear, such as music or dialogue on a TV show is in the same key, but slightly lower. And whenever it's in the evenings or late at night, probably after taking a bath, or doing some random activity during the day, the music/program is in the exact same key, but at a slightly higher level.

Not so sure about that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a similar kind of sensory processing thing. From my own experience and what I've read on-line, it seems that people with synaesthesia quite often have a mix of other sensory quirks. Synaesthesia itself takes many different forms - for me, things which I hear and see give me a sense of being touched or moved, or that my body is changing size and shape slightly. I also get migraines, see "visual snow" all the time, and hallucinate snatches of sounds that I've heard recently - things like that seem quite common among the other synaesthetes that I've spoken to.
