Hello. I was wondering if anyone had heard of a personality disorder called Histrionic personality disorder.
I believe my ex-wife had this disorder, to my detriment. As part of the disorder is where the person who has it sets up the people around them to make people think they are being subject to abuse or other things, in order to gain peoples sympathy.

I believe that the disorder is common among people who during childhood were neglected for what ever reason, and discovered after getting upset (crying etc.) that people could be manipulated by such an emotional response,
and that this form of manipulation could be used for material gain.

I think that in some who suffer this disorder, the sufferer is also a sociopath. Perhaps caused by psychological abuse in the form of neglect as a child (so shaping that child's perception of the world, and causing them to lose empathy and compassion for others).

Yep. I believe that is what my ex-wife has, unfortunately for me.
As i spent a number of years being set up by the sociopath, doing all i could to help her, support her.
While constantly being abused at her hand, while she constantly pinned blame on me and refused to ever see anything wrong with her own behaviour.

Unfortunately, to make things worse. Her entire family came from a similar psychological dynamic, and the other people who she had as friends and ex-boy friends all certainly had one thing in common, covert black occultism.
But there ya go. If anyone understands this condition. I would be interested in learning more.

Thanks
