Has anyone here felt like they were broadcasting their thoughts (against your will), and actually gotten responses from those in your vicinity, or am I the only one who has that problem...? It’s been like that for 13-14 years so I don’t have much of a social life.

I always feel like this, I've often thought perhaps I'm schizophrenic.

I don't know what causes it or how to stop it, but I think it's linked to my anxiety. It's scary when people seem to respond, and I worry that they hear things I don't want them to. You're not alone :)

I used to get it...and think also that people were saying things to me that they weren't...I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. It went away though, once I started getting enough sleep and taking medications, and also accepting the fact I had a condition and learning more about it. Now even without medications I don't get those symptoms. The first step is you gotta realize this isn't what's going on, that it's in your head, even if it seems real. Otherwise you'll keep living in that reality, and many things don't add up in that world.

Do you say something and then find it said on TV or the radio on multiple channels?
