Friend with dyspraxia struggling
I have a friend at University who has dyspraxia. She recently got her grades back, it's a passing mark overall but she's upset because she failed some of the individual modules due to reasons that are common with the condition. Despite having a learning contract with the University which includes her disclosed dyspraxia. She's frustrated with herself for still struggling with the same issues after all these years. She really wishes she was "normal" right now, and it hurts to see her like this. Especially since she's usually so confident and sure of herself. I can definitely relate to wanting to be normal, I've felt like that before and I know how emotionally heavy that state of mind can be. Still, I don't know her that well, so it feels odd to care so much. I want to offer support, but we're not all that close yet. She's always so busy. I wish I could get to know her better. *Sigh*
Oh well, I get the sense that she's fairly strong. So she'll get through this. Her friends will support her. Still, try as I may I can't help but feel a little down since I feel empathy towards her situation.
