I have an unusual gender identity so I definitely identify as genderqueer. 8)

Ey! <waves/>
I am a female who identifies as tri-gender. ~20% female, ~50% a-gender, ~30% male. Yeah, confusing.
Really funny trying to explain this to my best friend, a heterosexual cis-male.

I used to think I might be genderqueer, but now I think I'm just a fairly masculine woman. I'm not butch in a lesbian scene sense and I'm not particularly interested in very stereotypically masculine things like sport, cars, DIY, etc. Beyond the really stereotypical stuff though, I do have a lot of traits and interests society thinks of as masculine. Added to this is an absence of a lot of stereotypically feminine traits. If I was a man though, I'd still be a very camp one. I joke that I feel like a camp bisexual man in a woman's body; except I don't mind having a woman's body, so I'm not trans.

I think I'm just a variation on woman, really. Everyone else sees me that way and apart from the odd person trying to bully me, no-one has ever said they've got a vibe off me of not being a woman, albeit quite a masculine one. The gender binary isn't as strict as I thought it was; so I no longer think I'm outside of it.

I am an androgyne, genderqueer!

Logical, but emotional. Aggressive, but sensitive. Gentle, yet dominant. Forceful, yet tender. Assertive, but compassionate for others. The unification of the male and female, masculine and feminine energies is a noble path. Some tribal peoples call us two spirit people.

As for my looks, I am a short person, with big hands and a very androgynous face. People often get confused as to my gender, and I get a kick out of that! I love to challenge the perception of how a man is supposed to look, how a woman should look.

Loving you genderqueer kids, let's be friends!

I suppose I kinda fall into the genderqueer catagory. idk though, what's a female who wants to be a feminine gay crossdressing male? It's a little confusing...for me and other people. idk what I should call myself and other people just wonder why I wouldn't want to stay female since...I like men as a woman. I can't really explain it well to people...it's just how I feel.

I've never really identified as any gender. Even as a child it never occurred to me to feel particularly one way or another, but then I might assume most children don't really think about those things. I'm just a sentient being inhabiting a vessel. I have masculine and feminine traits, but neither of them define me individually. So, one could say I am androgyne.

I like to think there's a difference between being androgyne and being androgynous. One is about the internal identity and the other is about trying to align that with the external. I don't really do that. I suppose the term neutrois could also apply, but honestly I don't put a lot of thought into it. I'm just me.

I find femininity attractive (aesthetically, not sexually), but more than that I'm romantically attracted to women who have masculine traits (independence, assertiveness, resilience, etc) or other genderqueer biological females who don't try to fit in with the binary. I don't have sexual attractions; at least not enough to bother with.

I know a lot of people place high importance in certain pronouns, but I think it's a bit arrogant to expect people to comply with that. I don't mind being referred to as "he" or "him". It's easier for people, because they don't really understand all this gender stuff. Sure, it would be nice if it became more commonplace, but I don't think we'll ever accomplish that by being snooty about it.

Anyway, that's my synopsis. :P

I don't identify with either gender.
Does that count as being genderqueer? I'm not sure.

In general it falls under the genderqueer "umbrella" so to speak. Many ppl who describe themselves as you have call themselves "a-gender." The genderqueer/ gender diversity flag illustrates this with a green stripe on the bottom representing the reverse of the violet stripe at the top. Violet blends blue and pink for ppl. who identify with the male and the female gender. Green for neither. And white in the middle for all others who are not cis gender.

Hey there, nonbinary (dfab) person here! Currently navigating being out to others & what ways I want to transition. :)

droppy: that could mean you're genderqueer if you want it to and/or that description feels right to you! I personally don't identify strongly with the term genderqueer other than as a way to signal to others I'm nonbinary - it's the term cis people are most likey to have heard in my experience. If you're the sort that likes labels, there are lots out there to play with and see if they fit you: agender like mentioned above is typically used by people who don't feel a connection with any gender identity, other fairly common terms include neutrois, androgynous, nonbinary, gender variant, or even simply trans/transgender. "Two-spirit" is a term you may run into, but it specifically belongs to native Americans and should not be used by anyone who isn't native.

Personally, I id as trans, nonbinary, queer, and possibly femme, I use they/them pronouns.

Well I'm not really sure what I am but pm me if you want to talk, i'm up for talking, I just reply a little slow (just warning firsthand).

See I feel not male nor female but just a person living their life and choosing to do whatever they might do. If gender roles made by society tell me they are for the same sex, opposite or any sex then so be it. I'll keep doing it anyway because I am who I am. I picked up the term "Third Gender" to put things more simple.

You can count me in. I'm genderqueer. I was born female, though I know I'm a man. I've chosen to identify as Male here on WP and I do the same when I'm with my friends. I hated being told to be ladylike when I was growing up. I also remember my mum wanting me to brush my hair back, to make myself look more feminine. The thing that sucks the most is that I'm at least twice as strong as my mum or my sister and nobody in my immediate family is willing to give me credit for that. If I didn't look like Mick Avory in my face and my build, I would have gotten the sex change a long time ago. I'm still looking around for testosterone boosting pills, though.

I am fluid between highly feminine and very neutral and am okay with being seen as genderless. :)

I'm genderqueer too. I feel like a mixture of both male and female so I just say I'm the 3rd gender. Hehe, it's a bit of a running joke between my mom and I. We haven't found a good name for this 3rd gender yet though.
