feeling gross after gay sex

i have a dilemma
I've been having regular intercourse with my partner, also male, and i really enjoy it while we're doing it
but i feel really gross afterwards
i don't have inhibitions about my homosexuality but i think part of me is becoming asexual which is odd because gay sex is something i really enjoy from time to time.

have you experienced this?
how do you get over the gross feeling afterwards?

Well, the questions I have to figure out why you feel gross are probably more suitable for the adult forum. There's more than one way to have sex - have you guys tried different things?

Post-coital dysphoria is relatively common and not necessarily an issue with internalized stigma. It can be related though.

I don't really have any advice but that's the terminology to search up. I have a lot of issues around sex myself but I put that down to emotional abuse and being trans.

To me it sounds like maybe delayed sensory issues, like you get use to the feeling, but then afterwords you experience discomfort? Just a thought

Feeling gross after having sex with your partner doesn't necessarily speak to your security as a homosexual. Sometimes sex just isn't for everyone. I don't feel gross after having sex with my husband (though I'm usually only doing it for him and not for myself), though I personally feel the experience of sex to be overrated.

Granted, our sex has never been that adventurous (I mean we're both in our 40s and out of shape), so I'd be willing to accept that has something to do with it. In the end, though, our intimate companionship has meant so much more to us than sex.

To me, the best novelty in the arena of sex is in making (or laughing at) dirty jokes.

Not at all. To me it is completely natural.
