Is it me or are we Aspies more likely to be bisexual?

Took me until I met one of my friends I've known for 4 years (online) in person, dated and fell in love with a her to figure out I am 100% bisexual. I am proud. And I am proud to be me. It took me awhile to fully know if I was or not, but It was always in the back of my mind but now I am out and proud to be bisexual. =)

Bisexual and proud, came out. I do prefer girls but I have an attraction for guys and one day I just became sick of hiding that, so I didn't.

Thank You for leaving your comments, everyone.

I found out as a teenager that I like both guys and girls. I hid being bisexual until I was in my late 20's and early 30's. When I was a young teenager, this girl I was hanging out with put her arms around me and(French) kissed me and that was it, I (French) kissed her back. Then we laughed about it and kissed some more. It was amazing.

But I enjoyed kissing a guy too but it was so different feeling. I usually feel free in a way with a woman that I don't feel when I'm with a man. But I like men and I can be attracted and have relationships with them just as easily.

Sometimes, I've been more sexually attracted to women than men. But it really all depends on the person I'm involved with.

What do you all think, how did/do you feel about being bisexual, yourselves?

I came out when I was 15.

There isn't a whole lot to tell about my thoughts on it. It is what it is, and that's about it.

I have not "officially" come out as bisexual, waiting for my sister to come out first.

So she is too and you're waiting? Why? Wouldn't you be better off just being honest?

I understand AA, I didn't come out until I was older. I was afraid of disappointing everyone around me, seeing how my mother and grandparents would react. I didn't want to break anyone's heart. I didn't want to fight with anyone about. I didn't want anyone to think of me in a sexual sense at all, I didn't want to discuss my sexuality with them. Talking about sex was very taboo in my family. I was afraid they would disown me.

But at the same time it's very difficult to pretend and hide things from those close to us. It hurts to feel you cannot be yourself openly. It got to a point where I couldn't do it anymore.

Some families accept it easier than other's so it's not as difficult for some people to come out. My family wasn't one of those families.

Nope. Talking about sex & sexuality is extremely taboo with my family.

Depends what day it is, saying Bisexual freaks many people out too much to explain in personal detail to people.

I am bisexual. I have been rather open about it as long as I can recall. I never did understand why I was only supposed to like boys. It is hard enough for me to find one person I can get on well with, but to limit my options because of chromosomes or body parts has always seem silly to me.
