What? I hope you aren't saying that merely wanting to be a lesbian makes you lesbian, gay, bi, trans, or queer/questioning/whatever the q stands for.
its probably a mixture of both being lesbian and wanting to be one. but i agree merely wanting to be does not make one actually LGBTQ+
the Q stands for "queer" but im not too sure what that means as commonly people call gay people queers so......confused haha

I don't know about that because lordoflegions is registered as male.

Wanting to be a lesbian makes me a Tranny, which puts me as LGBT, T tranny, once I transform into feemale it will also make me L too, think of it like a combo card and you're doubling down.

You seem to have a strange idea about what it means to be trans, or maybe just an unusual way of explaining it.
Human beings cannot change sex, so you will never be female if you aren't already, and you will therefore never be a lesbian either. Please do not appropriate identities that do not apply to you.
Lesbians are an oppressed minority group, and we rely on a meaningful definition of the word "lesbian" to fight our oppression. Non-lesbians selfishly playing around with our identifier just because they want to be one of us is unhelpful and disrespectful.
Think about it in terms of someone with no Jewish heritage claiming to be Jewish just because she wants to be Jewish despite the importance of Jewish identity to fighting anti-Semitism. Jewishness and lesbianism are not labels that just anyone can legitimately claim.

I'm a transgender person. I don't think that's funny at all. You seem to be mocking the very notion of transgender women. That's bullying, and it's especially concerning to me because transgender people are disproportionately likely to be autistic (and vice versa).
I am probably the closest thing to a SJW that has posted on this forum. And I agree that the LGBT community can be hostile to neuroatypical people. I had a hard time expressing myself in university lgbt groups. People would get angry at me for phrasing my questions the wrong way, or for calling them out (the irony of "call outs" is that they only actually count if the person saying it is popular) when they belittled the social skills of someone with anti-lgbt beliefs. A good example of this is the "Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer" phenomena. There is plenty to dislike about Ted Cruz. But his "strange" smile, his awkward wave, his unusual social approach, or his tendency to monologue about his belief system are *not* acceptable things to mock about someone. When i tried to argue this, they said I was defending his belief system. I find it ironic how many people have called me morally rigid for refusing to deny humanity to people whom i dislike.

This is why people hate Social Justice Warriors. I don't think you're funny. I think you are a walking pile of unfunny who sucks the fun out of every living room (now called the dead room). Take a very long whiff of some laughing gas.

Oppressed in Africa. Not America.
Transwomen are more oppressed than Lesbians or Jews, so I don't want to hear your cissplaining.
You are a terf transphobe who says transwomen cannot be lesbos.

oh, whoops! I misunderstood. I'm not used to other trans people calling themselves tranny, so i assumed you were a cis person ridiculing the idea of trans people. My bad.

So you cant become jewish like you can become christian? thats really weird, i always thought you could (like just about every religion).
I think both sides of the transgender argument have some valid points, like pro-trans people have a good point of people doing it to be happy and the gender they feel they are and that its better to live like that then be miserable the way you originally are. yet people who are against it have the point of even if you change your physical appearance to become the other gender, your still not technically the other gender and may not ever truly be. as if you truly were becoming one, your DNA would change too wouldn't it? but it doesn't, you still have the chromosomes of the gender you were born as, so your still technically that gender? i dont want to offend people here. but i see the "your an SJW" thing thrown around here, I dont think thats fair to be given, as your just putting your view forward. I mean technically if your becoming a woman, and you like women, then that'd technically make you a lesbian, but if your going from the "your never changing gender truly" perspective, then maybe not. but it does feel like that trivializes it to just slap the label on casually. (as under-represented as lesbians are)
now what the hell is going on with this "cissplaining" isnt that a term that SJW's use? sure sounds like one to me

surely you should be actually putting a counter argument together and putting that forward rather then just throwing out insults? if your feeling attacked, attacking starkid is making her the victim here. your essentially giving up any moral high ground you have. just saying

I meant ethnically Jewish. I think anyone can adopt Judaism.
Well I'm not really interested in stopping people from living their lives the way they want. They can transition all they want and I won't try to stop the vast majority of them. I'm interested in stopping basically 3 things:
the lie, delusion, and scientific illiteracy that human beings can change sex
the re-definition of womanhood as some state of mind that anyone can claim
males gaining at the expense of females by pretending to be one of us
All womyn are female by definition. Males cannot become female, hence they can never be womyn.
I personally argue from a "you're never changing sex truly" perspective.
"Gender" was never a properly used word anyhow; people often use it when they mean "sex," and the trans/queer lobby have hijacked the word and hacked it up literally to the point of meaninglessness. Ask one of them what "gender" means sometime; you'll find that they can't give you a coherent answer. It is no longer a tool for communication (like other words); they are using it as a political tool.
Given that this person told another poster to take a whiff of gas upthread, I'm guessing he's a troll.
That's really disappointing. I've just accepted I am transgender and I was looking for a community to join. I came to Wrong Planet because it's been so helpful during the diagnosis process of my autism and was just such a great support network when the people I lived with either denied or downplayed my symptoms.
I've been getting the feeling that some feminists who are ok with homosexuality seem to be against transgender and are doing their very best to discourage me. I've spent my whole life being pressured into being something I'm not, either to fit a gender stereotype or to disguise my autism, and I've been hated for various interests and political views I've had. No one can really stop me from being me.
Oh, I just read the last couple of posts. Dammit.
