I don't really like the idea of the gay community. I know, good luck meeting someone if I don't, but ... it just seems centered around things I don't like very much. Like alcohol, casual sex, fashion, nightclubs, that sort of thing.
I realize that some people feel the need to make a show of being gay, and that's OK, but I don't like being expected to. There has got to be some kind of sane middle ground between being in the closet and walking around with a giant billboard saying "I'M GAY."
