That reminds me: TERFs.

Pretty much the lesbian counterpart to LCRs, except TERFs try go out of their way to make trans children's lives miserable.

she's not so much annoying, as it is me feeling unwelcome in her presence when she goes on rants about how straight men such as myself are a scourge that should be eradicated from the planet.

Oh, gosh...history. It all started back in the early 1970's, with the West Coast Lesbian Feminist Conference. Beth Elliott was supposed to perform and a small band of exclusionists, "The Gutter Dykes", decided trans women could not be lesbians, period. Chaos ensued and on that day Second Wave Feminism started eating itself alive and split into the Radical Feminists and Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists (or, TERF's). The exclusionists started using feminism the way a small group of conservative pastors of the same era started using televangelicism - for personal power. Sandy Stone was removed from Olivia Records. Janice Raymond wrote her book; it was then used by Republican Congressmen such as Jesse Helms to exclude trans people from the APA and trans health needs from insurance coverage. The impact has taken decades to undo.

Fast forward to the Internet era and a small core group of perhaps a dozen TERFs are still fighting that same fight with perhaps a few hundreds of others cheering them on. They've doxxed trans students & fed false stories to the media in conjunction with conservative groups, harassed trans people online and in person, outed them to employers, attacked parents of trans kids, tried to influence the UN against trans people, and so on. And like their conservative cohorts, they refuse to acknowledge any of the really solid science worked out in the last 20 years. In the case of TERF's, going so far as to tell researchers they don't understand their own studies.

So...yeah.

^^ that sounds positively brutal, I lack the words to describe how evil that bullying behavior is. it is worse than ethnic cleansing.

TERFs are real dirtbags too. My least favorite ones are Cathy Brennan which I have affectionately called Fake Goth in the past and Gallus Mag, the creator of Gender Trender. They both try to disguise their hatred of the transgendered into their warped version of feminism. It simply disgusts me.

Better if you don't post [She Who Must Not Be Named] by moniker, from what I hear she doesn't take kindly to people using her name in vain & does searches on a semi-regular basis. IIR she's a lawyer for a payday loan company. But also, I've been reading them for probably close to a decade now and not once have I perceived either as hiding their hatred of trans people. If anything they revel in it.

I really just fault her for the stuff that is her fault, and it's still pretty bad. I mean, she takes a distant second to myself for the title of LGBT person I find most annoying, but she is definitely really annoying.

Perez Hilton is the most annoying of them all. Davey Wavey can be annoying sometimes, but, Perez is the worst.

Oh yeah, that guy. Yep, easily the most annoying.
