All complaints against me and both companies involved have been withdrawn.
I like to think that it's in part because I'm a better lawyer than the complainant's lawyer.
It's also likely partially due to the simple fact that I posted this thread here when I did, too, as I was able to include it in various legal arguments and discussions to serve as my consistent version of events that I had posted publicly well in advance of finding out I had to legally defend myself with said version of events.
Anyways, it's all done and pretty much behind me now.
In the end, I wouldn't not go through it. It was very stressful in the beginning.. but I've gotten a lot of value out of it in the end. Being a lot more "comfortably out" to others as I was somewhat forced to be while dealing with this is a step in the right direction in my life. That and I learned a lot about the Human Rights legal processes here that I hopefully never have to use again, but could do for myself or someone else in the future should the situation arise.
As for final closure on this whole situation.. I had a couple different thoughts on this.. one, take all of the dozens of pages of documents & partially written arguments that are now no longer required and scrap book them so I can look at it and say "I did this," as a concrete reminder of the whole process that started out a living hell but then became a "whatever doesn't kill me only makes me stronger" sort of thing.. or two, burn it. After a brief chat with my closest friend, I've decided to go with the latter. I'm going to gather everything I have to do with this and then make a day of going somewhere to torch it all in a bit of a good riddance cleansing ceremony of sorts. My long term memory is plenty good enough to help myself or others with another similar matter in the future w/o having to have any of my documents to reference. Plus the whole hippy fire thing appeals to me - especially since I've never done it before to bring closure to anything, and this seems like just the sort of thing that should go up in smoke.

Congratulations! I'm happy for you. I was actually wondering how you were going with this case.
I don't know if it's a good idea to burn the documents, though. They could possibly come in handy in helping others.
Also, I'd still worry about what the idiot might do to you next. I mean blatant violence. He must be pretty frustrated and angry that his harassment was unsuccessful. Just watch out.

Thanks.
Nah, my knowledge of the process is fine w/o hard copies of paperwork to reference.
I no longer work with the guy and haven't for over a year now. Chances are I'll never see him again in my life. I very highly doubt he'd bother looking me up to come harass me. As unhinged as he is, I really don't think he's as stupid as to bring that sort of legal problem upon himself.

Yeah, congratulations mate. I remember reading this thread ages ago and I was wondering what the final outcome had been. I hope this really is the last time you have to deal with any of this (although I was fascinated with the whole legal process behind these sorts of complaints).
This bit made me curious:
Do you have any legal training yourself, or did the other guy hire a really incompetent lawyer?

The only formal education I have to do w/ law is the basics of real estate/mortgage laws. I consider myself to be fairly intelligent and studied what I needed to in order to deal with this situation myself vs. pay someone else to. That, and his lawyer wasn't exactly the best and brightest.. which was evident in his weak arguments, spelling & grammatical errors etc.
