I'm.

No urges, no sexual fantasies, no fetishes, no sense of sexual attraction. Hell I never had a crush. I'm even struggling to understand or appreciate all of it.
I used to ask people (usually perverts) what all those things were all about, and I never understood. So I dropped it since people thinks I'm either ignorant or too innocent. (I don't how or what 'turn on'/'horny' feels like and they talk about it too often)
And how I see porn is no different from a documentary of how humans mate. :eew:

I'm glad that I don't have an additional physical need upon adolescence. And I'm glad that I could care less.

Heteroromantic? Maybe I'm, maybe not. I'm not sure.

I'm asexual but the only thing about me that puts me on that scale is a lack of desire, or want, for sex. I simply don't like it, though am open to other things.

And although I'm asexual, I don't really feel like a part of a LGBTQ forum, as I've lived a straight life my whole life. Though after serious debates with other asexuals (seriously avoid the tumblr drama), I was curious to see if there were asexual threads in this section as I didn't really see any anywhere else on WP. Lo and behold, here's an Asexual thread.

Anyone else in a similar position?

Back in the day, a fetish was good, powerful medicine of the earth, and was connected to Native nature totems. Now it's something else entirely. I use the old meaning instead.

I honestly thought I was asexual for the longest time. But a part of it was medicine I was on. It made me loose interest in sex and I had a hard time figuring out how I really felt about it. I figured out I am demisexual, but a lot of the meds I end up on kind of make me feel like a forced asexual if that's possible. Another thing is I think my body is gross no matter how attractive someone says I am. I don't know, I don't find the human anatomy attractive, I find people gross for the most part unless I get to know their personality. I had a hard time with that in my first serious relationship where I lived with him for four years. I secretly felt ill when I got compliments about my body. I've thought of discussing this with my therapist but have yet to bring it up.

I don't know, it's like I have a hard time accessing the part of me that is supposed to go full-chimp when people have sex!

I'm actually what is called androromantic under being asexual since I am genderqueer.
