I'm omnisexual, but I may not be an aspie. I think I probably am, but who knows.

I feel the same way, I don't fit anywhere. This site is the first place where I feel like I fit in, but even here I feel like an outsider at times.

I think we all might feel like we're outsiders even here sometimes because we've gotten so used to being outsiders everywhere else. The feeling of 'fitting in' is one we've learned to never experience. But as it turns out, we all with AS fit in here even when we think we don't.
P.S. I'm not gay (since I'm posting here). I just wanted to respond to that statement.

I don't mean to bring anybody down or depress anyone, but that's just the way I feel sometimes.

lol no offense, but try being a minority (Latina) within a minority (bi) within a minority (TG) within a minority (non-TS) within a minority (AS) :-p

I think "Stargater" adds an additional minority category lolz, the majority is all running off to Skywalker & Capt. Kirk :-p

Perhaps it could be assumed that a thread for "LGBQ" does not necessarily exclude "CD," "TG," "GQ" or "I."

I used the term "other queer aspies" to include the wide range of orientations and gender identities out there, you are most definitely included. :)

hey rmgh, hating is definitely a strong word... can you elaborate?

Sorry, I just realised, this thread says "(positive posts please)".

But, basically, I don't like being the subject of an international joke, quite possibly the biggest one of all and it really isn't funny. I don't like being automatically judged and socially 'pigeonholed' and I don't like being required to affiliate myself with a certain lifestyle and personality (I'm not saying there's only one, here) Plus, I don't like keeping a huge secret.

End of negativity. Sorry again.

Thank you for elaborating, no the world does not make it easy for us and many of them insist we choose this!. At one point I gave up, after my GF leaving a 4 yr relationship because it was too hard to stand up to the hate. I love the father of my children though there was a huge hole, something missing that only a woman can fulfill. He met me as a lesbian and is the only man I have been with so I had to remind him of this and regain my freedom. Don't feel like you have to fit in any box or even label yourself, tearing yourself up over trying to fulfill others expectations only works against you.

No problem. Thank you for sharing your story with me. I do not live being who I am. So much so, infact, that I don't really know who I really am anymore. I think it's really damaging to live with a sexuality you do not tell other people about, but we have our reasons for doing so. I've been trying to work out how to live my life for years now. I want to leave my country and start a fresh somewhere new by myself, but I'm scared I won't be able to look after myself or function.

I also feel like a reject of every social demographic because I am a Neo Pagan Aspergian Bisexual Woman. I am not even part of the majority of Neo Pagans in my country because I am a Druidess instead of a Witch. But I do have a black cat.

BTW I am a Neo Pagan Bisexual Aspergian Woman with a preference for Straight or Bisexual Aspergian Men.

I feel like pretending to be straight is easier than coming out as gay and then try and get across to other people that my personality is not affected by this fact. Does that make sense at all?
