This is what happens when someone who is completely ignorant of science gets elected to a position of power.

This is what happens when a reality TV star gets elected to a position of power.

There should be a law against electing people with no actual political experience.

There should be a law against electing people with no STEM degree and no military experience.

We already have way too many professional politicians...

Personally I think we should get rid of politicians and let the scientists and other more worthy people be in charge of society!

Wouldn't it be more fitting for the first official interstellar visitor to be welcomed by the likes of Neil deGrasse Tyson or Michio Kaku than by Trump and his cohorts?

I'm not sure because some scientists can be very cold about human life and if they were the ones ruling the world we might end up with laws allowing human beings to be forced into being guinea pigs and experimented on without any regard for their wellbeing.

Science does a lot of good for the world but it can also do a lot of bad and some scientists would take their research way too far if they could because they have no sense of humanity.

What we REALLY need more than anything are leaders who really care about their country and their people. Not these corrupt ***holes who want to feel like God.

Heard about this the other day. Pretty much every person I know that is transgender sees it as a challenge. I feel if he manages to actually do anything it will be a temporary change until someone better suited to the position is elected. It does push people to move forward with name/gender changes on their forms though. Good luck to him convincing California to reverse birth certificate changes.

No one is being erased. Obama abused his authority when he did this. It is congress's job to change the law, not the executive branch. If you want to add gender identity to the law, change it properly.

The current administration is simply changing the application of the law back to its original meaning as it was written.

I'm pretty sure if this issue comes before SCOTUS, they will side with the administration. I could be wrong, since some courts have made arguments in agreement with (or were cited by) the Obama administration, but I doubt it.
