There is a lot of speculation as to whether this video was fake or not. Either way it was powerful and really touching.

As you say, "either way it was powerful and really touching." So I don't give a damn whether it was fake or not.

One of the ways that we learn from each other is by telling stories. Autobiographical stories might have a particular impact, but a presentation of, say, The Laramie Project is no less powerful because the people telling the stories are actors. Documentaries are one approach to telling stories, but they don't invalidate the signficance of complete works of fiction.

I have watched Jonah's video, and I have seen an outpouring of support from others. If other gay kids who are being bullied at school see this and see the messages from people all over the world saying, "I've got your back," then that is a good and wonderful thing all on its own.

I personally don't give a damn if it was fake or not either.

Couldn't of said it better myself.
