How do I get myself to talk to the President of my GSA?
I haven't gone to my school's GSA in so long because they changed the time they have it to when I can't go. I really want to talk to the president of the GSA, who's either a junior or senior (I honestly don't know) but I'm too scared since I haven't talked to her except in one short conversation. She's really nice and it's not like I SHOULD be scared of her, but I'm just SUPER shy. I don't have a crush on her, before you ask. I REALLY need advice from her since I just got outted and my parents are freaking out. How do I get myself to talk to her, I hope she doesn't think I'm a creep!

If your GSA has a teacher adviser, you might ask the teacher to pass on a note to her--either to pass on the substance of what you want to say, or to ask to set up a time to meet. Sometimes where there's an appointment, it's easier to talk with someone.

I agree with what visagrunt said. If your GSA has an adviser, you can use him/her as a sort of medium through which you and the president can communicate. Given your current situation at home, I'm sure they'll both be understanding and considerate of your needs. This is a time when the companionship of other LGBT students at your school would be very beneficial for you.
