Grew up as a "Nerd Boy" even though I'm a girl.

Ever since I was little I was treated as a guy and was given freedom of dress. I always liked guy stuff better than girl stuff: Clothes, Toys, Music, etc. I have a friend since Elementary who is the same and we were both more like Geek Boys than anything else. We would play Resident Evil all night, watch horror movies, swordfight, listen to Metal, and all that awesome stuff. Even in 4th grade we would talk about how cool it would be to be guys, though I have NO idea if that really means anything. What about you guys? Do you think this means anything? Were you like this as a kid?

I think I was a bit more tomboyish when I was younger, appearance and behaviour-wise, although emotionally speaking I was still pretty much a girl. And even then, maybe not a tomboy to the "extreme"; maybe just a preference for things that are generally perceived as musculine or androgynous, and I haaaated wearing feminine clothes in the past, such as dresses and skirts. Oddly enough, I'm perfectly fine with wearing my school skirt, but anything else just doesn't fit. I also used to dislike make-up, and resist my mother's insistence to get my earrings pierced, and ignored attempts to make me more "feminine" B|

I can do light make-up on my own now, but really, I still don't like doing it in geneal. Even if make-up is mainly done in the workplace, it's just for an aesthetic appeal, nothing more, nothing less. I cannot comprehend why girls are so fussy over their looks, like make-up and things like that. I identify as a female and feel like one, but sometimes I feel androgynous. xD

So to answer your question, I was only a bit more tomboyish C:

I'm an effeminate male nerd trapped in a woman's body.

Sucks when you get picked on by bullies, though.

Well, I am girly and have always been that way for the most part. I think it's best to be yourself, whether you are more into being girly or more into being boyish regardless of your gender. You only live once, might as well be happy and comfortable by being yourself :)

I was androgynous as a kid. Hit puberty and definitely developed a more feminine physique. I identify as female but it's not something I'm very attached to.
