Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share my latest blog post with all of you, which is my "coming out" essay.

I truly appreciate you reading this and I hope you enjoyed it. This was a very scary thing for me to do, but I knew that I had to do it. Please feel free to leave a comment on here or on my blog if you would like to do so!

Good luck. Sometimes, a change of location makes it easier to be accepted by those around you.

Thank you. I talked to my mother about it and she said it didn't bother her. I don't know about my father though.

Omisexual means I am attracted to people and not their gender its the person that matters not whats between their legs.

Congratulations once again. What you did took a lot of courage and you should be proud of yourself for that. I am pleased to hear that your mother isn't bothered by it. :)
Good luck with your farther. Stay strong.

So am I. I'm a bit concerned about how my extended family will react to it. They are mostly Conservative Christians who are not very accepting of the gay and lesbian community.

I don't know what to really say here. If you are not in any immediate danger of getting repudiated or what ever and you feel its important to come out to them then go for it, well that's what I would do at least. And if you aren't comfortable in doing so then I wouldn't, because there is no reason to rush into it. Good luck with what ever path you choose to take. Stay strong.
