If I am correct, bisexual means you like guys and girls, whereas panexual means you like anybody, regardless of gender.

With that in mind, I like guys, girls, and transgender girls. (females w/ male genitals)

Not sure if this makes me bi or pansexual....

What am I???

Do you really need a label so badly? I would call you "very open minded".

Yeah, technically it would make you pansexual. I'm pansexual but I rarely ever use that label because most people just start making bad jokes about me having sex with cookware. So I only use the label when I'm hanging out with the QSA (Queer-Straight Association on campus.)

Otherwise, my preferred label is bisexual or queer.

And, Ilka, speaking for myself, yeah a label is pretty useful. Plenty of people have said they assumed I was straight or assumed I was a lesbian. A label makes it easy to let others know whether I might be a potential partner for them or not. It's an easy heuristic.

I prefer the term bisexual because pan means everything and I don't have sex with everything (eg, dogs, sheep, the fridge...)

Bisexual just sounds better and I like the colors. The pan pride colors seem too haphazard.

Thanks for the input, guys.

Lol, I felt embarrassed posting this topic in the first place, since I might not be received well, but you all are very positive and constructive.

Oh! I didn't know there were pan pride colors. Will have to look for them. Thanks for the heads up.

You're welcome! :D

Oh, I meant to add yesterday when I made that post that bisexuality, to me, is the ultimate form of open-mindedness.

Man, SO I want a MMF 3-way now! Or FFM....or MMM. Not caring, 'cept I'm married. Damn.

I know the bi pride colors. I have some necklaces and stuff in bi colors. I thought you meant there were pan pride colors, too.

Ah, I searched and found a pansexual flag (don't like the colors) and a pansexual symbol (why does it look so much like an anchor?)

Some people who get addicted to porn and watch it constantly can develop crazy fetishes. I don't think its can concretely turn you one way or another, but compulsively watching porn can f**k your brain up. Porn is just like any drug, and like someone can be addicted to crack, porn can be the same way. I was addicted for a long time, and I am trying to stop. From experience, you can think your into something, when in reality your not.

Things change us, though. The brain is constantly learning new things and developing new behavioral traits, so something like a new fetish could be perfectly normal.

That would depend on the individual, but trust me, porn addiction is hell. Most regular people get laid and its not a big deal to look at porn occasionally. But if you have that OCD compulsive behavior in your genes, you should stay far FAR away from it.

Porn addiction is real, us as real as drug addictions or alcoholism. It f***s up your brain and your nervous system.

That is not what pansexual means though. And bisexual makes people sound like sluts.
