I don't know if the title was clear or not, but the question popped into my head. My question is, if a transitioning FtM with Aspergers took T-shots, (testosterone shots) would it make his AS extra sensitive? Making any Aspergers trait more pronounced then before?

I wouldn't know for sure, but Jinks said that he's witnessed trans people with AS present differently (I think different symptoms became more or less pronounced?). You could look back at the thread Tyri0n made where Jinks talked about it.

EDIT: Oh, looks like it wasn't Jinks, but seaturtleisland. Sorry about that. U:

I'm an FtM who has been on testosterone shots for almost 2 years, and my symptoms changed around a bit. Gains in some areas, losses in others. The doctor who saw me after a year on testosterone rated me as severe Aspergers, akin to HFA.

I feel like as time is going by my symptoms are becoming more pronounced, but I'm not sure. Currently, I am in some sort of burnout/regression but there are no events that would coincide that with testosterone at all.

So, I'm guessing it just probably depends on the individual. I'm not too too worried about it if my AS symptoms do change around in the slightest, but knowing testosterone is a hormone I wanted to definantly ask if there's a risk. Thanks guys for answering!
