On friday the letter from the court with my official name change was in the mail.

Now I've finally a male name because of ftm-transsexualism.
Since february I also have my surgery and now my name change and since over two years I take testosterone.

So I've just to change a fiew documents and then I've reached my goal. The rest is easy. :D

Congratulations!

I've been reading your posts since late last year about hospital etc. You've been through a lot. I'm very happy for you for your name change.

Congratulations.

Raziel, I hope you don't mind me asking, but one thing fascinates me. How did you choose your male name? Is it a masculine version of your original name, or did you just choose something meaningful, or something that you liked?

I know this is really insignificant after everything you will have been through, but it is the kind of detail I get fixated on, and I love names.

Anyway, I am happy for you that you have nearly reached your goal. :)

It's not a male version of my old female name but it starts with the same letter. :D
I liked the sound and the meaning and it kind of stuck to me. I don't know how to describe, but it seemed to fit and it seemed more that the name decided that it's the right one... ;)

Congrats!
My parents gave me a gender-neutral English name. My Chinese name...not so much.
