Does anyone else suffer from sexual obsessions or HOCD? I'm usually worried about being bisexual, but now I'm more worried about being asexual. I'm mainly worried about being asexual because I'm never sure if I'm sexually attracted to someone. I think I have this problem because I overanalyze things thanks to my stupid OCD.

I think I am a mix of these. I don't think I am strongly anything.

I think I am a mix if bisexual and ace, and 'masculine of center' or 'butch' presenting? With some annoying gender disphoria but not as severe as when I was younger.

I am newish to learning all this LGBT terminology and understanding their meanings.
I always thought I was hetero but just not interesting in much of anyone because most people are not my type. Any my family is anti LGBT so it sucks if they know about any of this self analysis.

I am so weird. Being autistic is weird. It seems I am all kinds of weird and not 'normal' in any aspect of my life.

I'm not butch at all. That is why I had so many problems coming out as gay. My mom really wants to believe I'm bisexual or asexual, but I would hate it if I was any of those things. She used to think my sexuality was a phase, but now she moved on to bisexuality and asexuality.

What is so awful about being bisexual? Compared to being a lesbian, it has a lot of disadvantages but also it has its own perks. I wouldn't have it any other way, despite all the problems and frustration it causes. I wouldn't have felt the sort of love I feel for both sexes if I hadn't been born this way. I can't 'have' my female friend as a partner, but that sexual spark makes me all the more devoted to her, even if it gets frustrated. Likewise, I wouldn't have fallen in love with my boyfriend if I wasn't into men. Take it from me, it's not the end of the world to be bi (even if the mental illness rate for bisexuals is shocking).

Anyway, I think you're probably not bi. I think you are scared of not being right about who you are - am I correct? This fear is what is causing you to second-guess yourself. You're allowed to change your mind about this stuff - only a***holes will judge you for it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being bisexual. I actually wanted to be bisexual when I was younger and there's still a part of me that wants to be bisexual. It's mostly my OCD wrecking havoc. You should read about HOCD if you want to understand my situation better.

I know obsessive thoughts aren't logical.

It's still good to remember the truth.
