I don't find myself feeling particularly proud to be Canadian a lot of the time these days (in many ways lol), but one thing I've always found to be worthy of our pride is our history when it comes to equal rights for lesbians, gays, bi, trans, etc. I received this in my e-mail today from Rabble for Pride week and thought I would share, for any fellow Canadians out there, or anyone else who is interested.

Thanks for posting.

There were a few interesting dates & events in that list.

I never used to be one to really give a s**t about all this pride and rights stuff much.. well, I mean, I guess I've always cared to an extent.. but it's only since having to deal with a homophobe and his ridiculous wild fabricated allegations of sexual harassment against me that I've thought about this kind of stuff a lot more and have a much greater respect for those who've fought for gay rights and those who participate in Pride parades and all that. It all has a lot more meaning to me now than ever.
