Recent anime Punchline. You won't probably figure out what I mean by gender-bender before 6th-7th episode though. At least I was surprised.

Mayo Chiki! - a girl pretends to be a butler.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama! in a few episodes the main female character pretends to be a boy. It's one of my favorite animes.

You might also like Hanazakari no Kimitachi e but there is only manga and a real actor series(I never watched it though, I only read the manga), not anime so far.
It's about a girl that transfers to all boys school because she has a crush on one of the guys. Pretty good.
