I am very sorry if this seems to be hijacking the thread, it is not my intent. But it is confusing why that book cover features the icon of St. Paul and St. Peter. It doesn't make sense.

Nevermind, I think I now get it. It is being taken grossly out of context, but now I think I see why they wanted to use it.

Just to point out, the first gay activist was Saint Anselm of Canterbury, around 1100 CE. England wanted to tax priests based on single vs married status, and in reaction the Church tried to prohibit gay priests, of which Anselm was one based on his well known letters to his bf. He won, by the way, although the Church would again prohibit gay priests before his death some number of years later. Interesting that it was originally over money, not catechism...
