Hi, I need advice so how you deal with feelings for people in a more business-like place, even though casual and friendly.

I thought I had a crush on a woman in a group work and told myself it was ridiculous, that it was just something friendly -and that it is normal (?) to develop such feelings sometimes.

The thing is these feelings have been growing and I still to tell myself it's ridiculous, and probably is anyway. I don't peruse her or initiate anything but I'm sure I'm sort of awkward around her. I can't think logically.

I don't think she's into women. I think I should just say nothing to anyone irl. But I damn need to talk about it.

Some organizations have anti-frat. policies...you should check.

Initiating with someone when you don't know their sexual pref. is very difficult and stressful.

Do u know if she is single?

Sometimes you have to just blurt out "I find you attractive and I'm wondering your sexual orientation?"

I had a man do that to me once.

It is risky though and can backfire.

Good luck :D

Thanks for your message.

I don't think I could EVER do that lol

I think she's straight as I heard she was with a man. It's an educated guess that she still may be. That's a serious no-go for me in any case. Bi or bi-curious, I have no way to know that really.

I think I should just shut the hell up there. People talk. I'm putting distance - before it gets too far - , but the thing is the feeling is there. I'm a grown woman lol so I can rationalize. It hurts, but it's a good thing to talk about it. And stay busy. I don't see her all the time either, but when I do, it's like all efforts disappear.

I just try not to hope, and enjoy whatever I'm given and give what she can receive. So far. The situation will actualize.
