Does anyone know a good way to go about doing this in Florida. All the dating sites require money and I need to meet IRL. I want to meet another Aspie or someone highly intelligent to spend my life with and yes I am willing to try out a number of models and do realize I won't find the right one on the first try?

I know it can difficult to meet compatible guys. I was fortunate to meet someone special (not on Gaydar - in fact I can't remember the details but we met due to a shared interest...) It can be easier in some respects than for straights 'coz women think differently to us whereas guys are easier to relate to.

There definitely seems to be a higher proportion of gays on the spectrum than in the average population at large.
