I think my dad is a bit homophobic about men?

I'm bisexual myself and he's ok with that and he's ok with his lesbian sister.

But we were talking about James Dean.

I don't know if James Dean is gay or not but I said 'I wonder if he was gay because he was good looking and a Hollywood star but had to get women to pretend to be his girlfriend for events'...

I stand by that suspicion if that's true like in the documentary I saw. It's unusual to be straight and that good looking/successful and not have girlfriends.

Dad said 'he wasn't gay'. I don't know so I was prepared to hear evidence he wasn't, like information on a girlfriend or something. I said 'why'. He said 'he was tough'...

Um there are gay men who are tough though... I tried saying that and he doesn't believe me that gay men can be tough.
