It really upsets me that there are still plenty of people like those in this video who believe that it is wrong to be LGBT. Like I'm sure you all have heard before, PEOPLE DID NOT CHOOSE TO BE ATTRACTED TO THE SAME SEX! And even though a vast majority of people have come to their senses, there are still a number of people in this world who dehumanize others for something that they didn't choose.

Just to clarify, I am not LGBT. I just, again, there is still way too many people who judge homosexuality because of something written thousands of years ago.

Yes but what is the definition of "homophobia"?

Mister redelings correctly told me that "you make people uncomfortable with the way you dress!".

The statement is correct.

But everyone makes people uncomfortable with the way they dress.

The reason why he told me that was because  he  was uncomfortable with the way I dressed.

He correctly told me that he didn't say anything about my clothes or hair before I asked him to call me "he" instead of. " she"

As though he was claiming credit for not being homophobic. He did not exterminate me. He did not say "fa***t" or anything about my clothes or hair.

Mister redelings did not invent homophobia

He did not want or choose to be "uncomfortable"

Based on the lil penis' statements to me, he sounded homophobic. To me.

He does get credit for not making comments.

But he sounded like it was enough credit to make him not homophobic

He and I have a different definition of "homophobic"

The dictionary definition is too vague

Just because someone is homophobic, does not mean that all of their statements were wrong

Just because someone was not homophobic, does not mean all of their statements were correct. And they sure as f**k do get 75 bucks an hour to successfully refrain from being homophobic

f**k mister redelings, Lil penis

f**k counselor Jeanne Courtney, stupid b***h

I've been thinking about attitudes like this for a couple of months. I mean really thinking. If religious people really think that way about people who are LGBTQ, than maybe I should stop going to church and do something else between 10 and 12 on Sundays.

Your statement is correct, but some churches hang a gay pride flag out front

Homophobia bothers me too, but I've gotten to a stage in my life where I just DGAF anymore what anyone else says about my sexual orientation. They have a right to have their opinions, and I have a right to have mine. As long as they aren't being obnoxious a-holes about it, I don't let myself get bothered about it anymore. It's not worth the energy.
