What do you think about gays (or lesbians) in Politics? I am a Pole, there is a lot of talk about the alleged homosexuality of Jarosław Kaczyński?

I read about the fact that when Lech Wałęsa became the first democratically elected president of Poland after the fall of communism, he sent as president-elect an invitation to the Kaczyński brothers for his swearing-in ceremony, in which he invites Lech Kaczyński with his wife and Jarosław Kaczyński with his "husband"

Lech Wałęsa, the legend of our Polish Solidarity Trade Union, is not a flawless man, many accuse him of collaborating with the communist secret police in the late 1970s.

Apparently, Wałęsa is ambivalent about his cooperation with the security services, which Jarosław Kaczyński accuses him of, he said he once joked that even when he was once a "snitch", it is less of a disgrace than being a f..g, like some of his colleagues from the former Solidarity, which was a ploy to the fact that Jaroslaw Kaczynski is gay, moreover, both gentlemen, to put it mildly, do not like each other.

But now his PR specialists are telling him that it is no longer welcomed to make jokes about Jarosław Kaczyński's alleged homosexuality and gays as such that such jokes harm his legend as an icon of the Polish "Solidarity" movement more than the accusation that it is allegedly caused by for some time he cooperated with the communist special services

The same thing I think about anyone in politics -- they should all seek honest employment.

It doesn't matter what I think-----they have made their mark in politics.

As to what I think: It doesn't matter to me, really.

They're politicians just like any other. Sexuality is irrelevant here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is how I feel about this, too. It's not like a gay/lesbian politician could mess things up more than straight politicians already do. lol

Same here - unless they are closeted gays/lesbians in self-denial. Self-denial is very bad for mental health and politicians with bad mental health can be extremely harmful.
Harmony with oneself is very important for healthy leadership.

It disturbs me this question is even being raised, as if people's sexuality (dis-)qualifies them for politics.

Agree on that, I see you're a fellow Pole here :D
So you probably know about accusations towards Mr Jarosław Kaczyński that he is secretly gay that's he's closeted gay, even though I'm not Kaczyński fan boy it's annoying me that some people thought that gay persons cannot be leaders because they're gay and stuff like that

Yes, I know the gossip. I suspect everyone interprets it their own way but for me, the problematic part would be not "gay" but "in self denial". He does act like someone in perpetual dissatisfaction and, whatever the real source of the dissatisfaction is, it's extremely damaging with the power he has gathered.

Powerful people seem to exhibit "perpetual dissatisfaction" whether gay or not.  It is what makes them great.

It would be somewhat presumptuous to equate this state of mind with any particular sexuality.

With all respect, I don't think you know this particular politician well.
The kind of dissatisfaction you describe is also called "ambition".
The kind of dissatisfaction Kaczyński shows goes well beyond that... it's obsessive and destructive. There are various gossip about it and OP asked me about just one of the circulating theories. Other factors speculated about are e.g. unhealed mourning after his brother's death.

Ahh . . . like a certain orange-skinned ex-president whose ego is so 'yuge' it obscures his perception of reality?

Different in details but related patterns.

Sociopathic narcissism does not seem to be confined to any one form of sexuality.

I will look into Kaczyński's behavior a little deeper.

Oh, definitely.
Spending one's life in serious self-denial, though, puts one at much higher risk of developing personality disorders.
That's why we need LGBT+ acceptance. And autism acceptance. And generally diversity acceptance.
We have another politician in Poland, Biedroń, who is loud and proud gay - apparently, you can. Obviously, being loud and proud gay suits a leftist like Biedroń, not Catholic conservatist like Kaczyński.
