Where can I make friends as an autistic lesbian? In my experience a lot of people accept either my sexuality or my autism but not both. Are there certain types of groups to meet people that may be more open-minded?

I’m not entirely sure. I live in a liberal area of the US. There is a pride center nearby but I’m skeptical to go. I flap my hands when I’m nervous in new situations. I also live in a group home and worry if that comes up people will treat me differently as well. I think I’d be more comfortable at an autism group but haven’t found one for adults, everything seems to be for children and teens.

it's your choice but I think LGBT group would be the second most accepting group for you, after autism group

Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
