My X is probably the least well known one. X-Cops was a one album band in the early 90's that was a side project of GWAR. Basically GWAR out of makeup, in police uniforms making fun of the show COPS. I've never met another person who's heard of them.

Woah, thank you for mentioning that there were other bands called X! I looked it up and discovered that there was an Australian punk band called X in the seventies, and it included one future member of Rose Tattoo! I'm trying to increase my knowledge of Australian 70s punk. The Scientists are my favorite so far, but I can't wait to hear the other X (another thing to look for on eBay . . . ).
