There's this track I like, I think it came out in 06. It sounds kind of like Gorrilaz, MGMT or Calvin Harris, it may be one of those 3. It has a funky bassline, that sounds vaguely similar to the bassline for Ting Tings "let me go", but deeper and funkier. It has the same echoey sound as Gorrilaz Dare.
The lyrics are really distorted and squeaky,, they sound a bit like "you and me, never be" repeated..a kind of droning bassline with synth..sorry to be so vague, and ideas thanks?

You don't say where you are, but in the UK you could Shazam it- ring 2580 on your mobile, let it listen for 30 seconds, and let their computer identify it. Have a look, see if you've got a local service. I can't post a link, but if you Google for "Shazam" you'll find it.
